About the Team

The University of Minnesota Cheerleaders cheer at all home and away football games, and all home basketball games.

Comprised of both Coed and All Girl styles, Minnesota utilizes athletes of both styles to compete at the UCA National Championships in the Small Coed Traditional and Game Day divisions. The Golden Gophers are the reigning 2026 Small Coed Division IA Game Day National Champions, a title they defended after also winning in 2025. Minnesota are the second runner-ups in 2026 Small Coed Division IA Traditional.
